Dr. Garath Mäenpaa is a non-operative sports medicine physician who is in private practice and practices in Philadelphia and suburbs. He is also Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mäenpaa specializes in diagnosing and treating these conditions. He is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and is usually the first line of contact for an athlete — whether recreational or elite, young or mature — suffering from a condition preventing them from participating in sport or interrupting physical activity.
While most of conditions seen are musculoskeletal he can also manage sports specific issues such as muscle cramps, concussions, exercise induced asthma and return to play recommendations for medical illnesses.
